Ice Cream / I Scream was screened in Vancouver

VANCOUVER (Notre Anatolie) - Turkish Canadian Society screened the award winning Dondurmam Gaymak (Ice cream / I scream) directed by Yüksel Aksu on October 19th at the Pacific Cinematheque. The event started at 1:30 p.m. with a buffet where some Turkish food is sampled. The introduction / welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Bahar Cinarli. Dr Cinarli is a former executive committee head of the TCS, who is currently one of Bizim Anadolu Vancouver authors. Dr Cinarli briefly talked about Turkey and mentioned some key factors about the film. The event overall, and the film was very well enjoyed by the audience.

This was yet another successful event TCS organized this year.
